In 1983, Hart Tool Co., Inc. launched in Los Angeles, California with a product line consisting solely of framing hammers. The original HART hammer line was created for framers, by framers. Key Account Manager RFS for Milwaukee Tool, Seattle, WA

"I chose TTI because I was looking for a long-term career path where I could be challenged and learn something new every day."

Amber’s capacity for collaborative leadership set her apart as a prime candidate for TTI’s Leadership Development Program. Following work and graduation from the University of Washington, Amber joined TTI as a Field Sales and Marketing Representative in Puyallup, WA in 2018. Utilizing skills from a past career in nonprofits, Amber quickly progressed through several roles at TTI, moving up from her initial local sales role to a Territory Sales Manager for Northern Washington, Montana, and Alaska. From there, Amber shifted gears to pick up skills in Event Marketing Management and Recruiting for the company, before settling into her latest challenge as a Territory Manager for Milwaukee Tool, based in Seattle, WA. Amber attributes her success in the program to focusing on the people she works with and not letting personal interactions feel like they’re just transactions.

In this week’s spotlight, we feature Mathis Newman, Sr. Commercial Financial Analyst at our TTI EMEA Office. Mathis graduated from John Carroll University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, majoring in Finance. Mathis began his career with TTI in June 2018, when he joined the Finance Leadership Development Program (FLDP). He started the program as a Financial Analyst on the Internal Audit team at our original headquarters in Baltimore, Maryland. After five months, he transitioned to Greenville, SC, where he took on a position as a Sr. Operations Financial Analyst. After three years in South Carolina, Mathis embraced an international opportunity and joined our team in London as a Business Analyst in 2021. He has since been promoted to Sr. Commercial Financial Analyst, continuing to thrive and grow within TTI. Mathis’ journey is a testament to both the domestic and global opportunities TTI offers. His commitment to ongoing education and broadening his skill set has enabled him to achieve remarkable growth on an international scale. Mathis shares, "I chose this role because it was a great opportunity to challenge myself in an area of finance that I had yet to gain exposure to. Additionally, the role being an international assignment presented new and immersive experiences abroad, both professionally and personally." In this week’s spotlight, we highlight James Schaeffer, a Business Analyst at our TTI EMEA Office. James graduated from James Madison University in 2019, majoring in Finance & Business Analytics. After graduating with a solid educational foundation, he embarked on a journey of professional growth and development. James began his career with TTI in 2019 as a member of our Accounting & Finance Leadership Development Program (FLDP). He initially joined the Fort Lauderdale Office as a Financial Analyst on our Internal Audit team. After gaining valuable experience, James transitioned to the BP&A team approximately one year later. In 2021, James rotated to our South Carolina Office where he began his role as Sr. Financial Analysis II on the Finance Operations team. James demonstrated a high level of commitment to TTI and produced excellent work. As a result, he was offered to join our TTI EMEA Team in the UK. In May of 2023, James relocated and was promoted to Business Analyst, focusing on business processes and risk.  James' career path at TTI reflects his dedication to professional excellence and continuous learning. When asked about his career choices, James shared, "I chose the FLDP career path to gain experience across various financial functions of the business. In doing so, I have had the opportunity to lead cross-functional initiatives directly contributing to bottom-line results, to work with incredibly smart and like-minded individuals, and to establish a holistic approach and strategic vision for the business. I’m proud to be a reliable asset for the business, regardless of the role, business unit, or country I am supporting." In this week’s spotlight, we are highlighting Kaylee Bastien, Channel Manager for Milwaukee Tool based in Milwaukee, WI.    Kaylee is a proud alumnus of The Ohio State University, where she completed her Bachelor's in Marketing in 2018 and joined TTI shortly after her graduation.    Kaylee joined TTI’s Leadership Development Program (LDP) in January of 2019 as a Field Sales and Marketing Representative in Columbus, OH. She was promoted to become a Territory Manager over the Ohio Valley market in June 2019. Kaylee was into the details, forged strong relationships with The Home Depot Partners, and was extremely passionate about coaching and developing her team, which led to her promotion of Sales & Product Trainer in October of 2019. This promotion also brought her to Milwaukee, WI where she spent her time developing representatives traveling to the Pudwill Leadership Center to gain hands on and applicable experience to sell and grow our business within our retail partners. Kaylee continued to focus on her ability to communicate effectively, build relevant training content, and step up as a leader amongst her peers and was promoted to Sr. Sales & Product Trainer in October 2020. Gaining exposure to the Milwaukee Tool team working in the office each day, she was able to build on her strengths and make the jump into an Associate Channel Manager role on the ACE Hardware Team in April 2021. In this role, Kaylee continued delivering phenomenal results and added value to the program which led to her being promoted to Channel Manager for the ACE Hardware Team in August 2022. Kaylee continued to identify opportunities to grow the ACE Hardware Milwaukee Tool business and partner at a high level to collaborate with her distribution partners. Kaylee now resides in the role of Channel Manager on The Home Depot .COM Team and continues to bring her strengths and unique eye for details to this role daily.    With her passion in partnership, effective communication, and identifying opportunities to grow business categories, Kaylee continues to leverage her previous experience to make a direct impact on the future leaders of TTI and Milwaukee Tool.
